Virtual Reality

Jess and Travis came to visit us yesterday, and they were kind enough to bring us a Google Cardboard device, which I didn't even know existed.  It's basically a cardboard box viewer that you put your smart phone into, and then you can use your phone with the viewer to run virtual reality videos and apps.

It's awesome and amazing and we love it.

We started with a virtual reality tour of Mars.

Google Cardboard
Connor gave it his stamp of approval.

Google Cardboard
Kevin also approves.

Keeping with the outer space theme, the second app we downloaded let us take a virtual tour of the moon.

I did a little research, and there are a wide variety of different cardboard viewers that you can order, and most of them are under $20.  If you haven't ever tried virtual reality, and you have a smart phone, what are you waiting for?

This is fabulous!
