There are all sorts of dog competitions for obedience and agility and looks, and even though we took Tik with us, we didn't enter him into any of the events.
Instead, we just walked around and took it all in.
Lex actually spent a good portion of the event inside a bouncy house.
Connor procured a new bandana for Tik. It's covered in Calaveras, and I love it. It's the best bandana any dog has ever had.
We left after Tik got too hot to do any more walking around the festival. He kept finding shady spots to hide himself in. There were plenty of little baby pools and buckets filled with water for him to play in or drink from, but he wouldn't get near them. I actually picked him up and put him in the middle of one of the pools when I realized how hot he was, but he just jumped right back out of it.
He would only drink water from a water bottle, instead of from the community dog bucket. Spoiled rotten pup.
