Boys Club: Amicalola Falls Edition

Yesterday we went with the Boys Club to Amicalola Falls State Park.  It's close enough to us that we should probably go back again with Kevin, and take some other family members when they come to visit us.  It's a really great park, and the falls are fantastic.  I also want to do the zip lines and check out the Hike Inn.

It's a good beginning (or ending) to the Appalachian Trail.
I have a hard time imagining walking practically all the way across the country, but people were doing it.

After some time on the playground and a picnic lunch, we began our hike up the falls.

As we headed back down, we somehow ended up on the wrong side of the river, so the boys were happy to find a good place to cross the river.

Once we were back down at the bottom of the falls, the boys wanted to play in the water.

They caught a couple of crawfish.

Once everyone was done in the water, they all played a game of infection.

It's basically tag, except there are zombies.

It was a wonderful trip, and a great day for Boys Club.
