Duke Talent Identification Program

I recently found out about the Duke Talent Identification Program (or TiP) from another mother, and we applied for membership for Connor and Lex.  They both had taken a Stanford test last spring, and we submitted those test scores to Duke.  They were both accepted!

Bumper Sticker? Nah! Face Sticker.

So, now they can take part in some online courses with Duke, and there are summer and weekend programs available for them to attend with other smart kiddos.  Not all the programs happen at Duke, although some do.  There are also programs that take place in Georgia and Florida, so we might be able to find one a little closer to home.  The first activities are geared for 4th to 6th graders, then older middle schoolers, and finally high schoolers.  I honestly don't know what to expect, but I have it on good authority that it is a really great program with lots of options for fun learning experiences.  I saw some mystery solving thing that looked great for the summer, but I can't remember what grade level it was intended for.

What will we sign up for first?  Stay tuned!
