See, I told you that I finally found a bride and groom cake topper that looked just like us for our wedding cake. Now, this statute is sitting on a shelf in our library.
Note: You can only see the top 2/3 of this figurine, because it was really heavy. The top layer of the cake was supposed to be styrofoam with icing on it, in order to support the weight of the topper, which is an old wedding-cake-baker trick. But, my baker apparently forgot, and made this top layer cake, too, so the topper sunk down into it! The groom is actually carrying the bride, so her feet don't touch the cake, but you can't tell, because he is stuck in cake up to his knees! (That still makes me laugh!)
