Online Shopping

I've been doing a lot of online shopping lately, and I blame it partly on Emily, for turning me on to two totally fabulous websites: www.babysteals.com and www.mamabargains.com. (Really though, I'm not mad. And Kevin hasn't started complaining yet, either. So don't worry.)

Since I got started on this little shopping kick, I've bought a baby sling, clothes for Connor, diaper bags, memory cards, DVDs, and probably more stuff that I can't think of right now. Oh, and some camera parts. I love getting packages of new stuff! It's very addicting.

I went ahead and ordered the Classical Baby DVDs for Connor, because he loves them, and I figured that if I bought them now, I wouldn't kick myself later when I had already practically paid for them in late fines at the library. When I did order them, I also discovered a new one: Classical Baby Poetry (I'm grown up now). The little animated baby is a little older, and the DVD is a little bit different, but still clearly made by the same people. At first, I thought that it would be too advanced for Connor, but he enjoyed it anyways.

I also bought a DVD called Trebellina, which is supposed to teach children ages 1 to 4 how to read sheet music. I figured that since I don't know how to go about teaching Connor to play the piano since I am still learning myself, that this might be nice. I'll let you know how it goes!

Yes, I'm the queen of online shopping (much to my husband's dismay:)--pretty much my entire wardrobe is from QVC:) And I'm addicted to Amazon.com (books, books, and more books:) Great minds think alike--wait til you see Connor's Christmas gift from us:)

And yes, receiving packages is very addicting!

oh, and I forgot to mention that my UPS man and I are on a first name basis--his name is Rick:) I thought I was bad getting packages 1-2x per week--he informed me that's nothing--there are women getting upwards of 10 packages a DAY(and yes, I LOVE getting those packages in the mail too, if I were smart, I should just take the next package I receive and NOT ever open it, so the excitement remains without spending more money:)
