Cullen

When Cullen was first suggested as a name for the new baby, I was hesitant, because I only knew it from the Twilight series. But, then, I discovered another mother who had named her son Cullen some time ago. It seemed to be a proper name. So I looked it up.

The meaning of the name Cullen is: Back Of A River

The origin of the name Cullen is: Scottish

Notes: Scottish surname used for families from Cullen, Scotland. Fictional vampire family from the popular novel series "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyers.

When I mentioned the name Cullen to Kevin, he seemed to like it. We shall see...

**EDIT**

I found another meaning for Cullen: Chieftain.

Cullen is a nice name. And it goes nicely with Connor. What will his middle name be? It's so funny you think of a name before the baby is born, then after the baby is born and you've been using that name it's as though "of course that's his name" You can't imagine him being named anything else. When Meg cose A's name everyone was What? But I can't think of her as anything other than what she's named.

How does Connor's name compare to Cullen? I remember doing this with the twins names and the origin of both first names were Hebrew and middle names were Gaelic.

Connor is Irish and Everett is English in origin.

It's too early to say. We haven't decided anything yet. Still just talking.

We'll have a press release with an official announcement when we do decide on *the* name.
