We went to see some Big Machines at COSI yesterday. It was everything Connor had been hoping for when he heard about the exhibit.
He wanted to be able to climb up onto the machines and into their cabs. Most of the machines were set up so that he could do so.
Lex was happy because he was able to wear his digger shirt.
Connor got to wear his digger shirt, too. And I was hoping that it would be an easy shirt to spot in a crowd, since it was bright green. But, it turns out that the COSI employees wear either navy shirts, or bright green shirts. And, an entire group of kids from some camp were wearing bright green shirts, too. He blended right in with everyone else!
Not only was Connor able to sit it most of the cabs, but some of the machines were set up for operation, too! Here is Connor using a mini excavator to shovel some dirt in a big bin.
The Big Machines are only going to be at COSI until this Sunday, and he has already asked me if we can go back again today, tomorrow and/or the next day...
