Spring Soccer: Final Edition

This week was the last week of Spring 2012 Soccer for the boys.  Connor had a particularly good time this week.

Lex didn't nap that afternoon, even though I could tell that he was really tired, and he fell asleep on the short ride over to the soccer fields.  For the number of times that he fell asleep in the car on the way there, you might think that it was a long drive.  But no.  The games were just scheduled at a bad time of day for him.

Lex slept through the entire practice, and he woke up just in time to play in the game!

Connor got to be goalie, and he didn't let a single goal go past him!  Even if he did a little monkeying around when the ball was at the other end of the field.

Connor scored two goals during this game, and he would have scored a third one, except the coach blew the whistle to end the game right as he kicked the ball into the net.

Look how happy he is after he scored!

Here are some proud parents:

Since it was the final week for this season, they did a little awards ceremony and passed out medals for all the kids.

We also got our professional portraits back.  I am really pleased with how well the boys' individual shots turned out.

Isn't Lex just a little cutie?

I like Connor's mean soccer smile.

I am also really happy with how the team photo turned out, especially when you remember that I was the one that took this one!

Go Hummingbirds!
