When Connor found out that the Hancock Tower wasn't the Tallest in Chicago...

...he was upset.  He wanted to go to the top of the tallest tower in Chicago...and that is the Willis (Sears) Tower.

Since it seemed like a fun idea to us as well, we managed to make it happen.  We actually went in the evening, and found a huge wait to get to the top.  The line for the elevators was approximately 2 hours long, and it was dinner time, so we left and decided to try again the next morning.  When we came back the next morning at 8 am, there was no line.  Success!

It was a little hazy because it was still early morning, but the view was still pretty good. Here is the Hancock Tower, as seen from the top of the Willis Tower.

Lex really liked the glass ledge.  He walked right out, with no hesitation at all, even though it was 1,353 feet above the ground.  He kept going out until he reached the glass wall at the far end of the box.

Then, just like when we were at the CN Tower, he looked down for quite some time, to check out what was going on below him.

Connor was a bit more hesitant this time, and when he first stepped out onto the glass ledge, he wanted me to hold him, piggy back style.

But he eventually got over it.  See?  Here is a photo of the boys and I in a glass box that Kevin took while in the neighboring glass box.

Hmmm...those windows could use a wash.  It's funny, I didn't notice them being dirty when we were actually there.  I must have been distracted by the view below my feet.
