We invited Nana and Grandpa to join us.
And our good friends, Julie and Logan came too.
Lex decided to do a little mini bowling.
Connor didn't want anything to do with mini bowling. He sat and watched while Lex played his 10 frames. And then we set off for the kind of bowling that he wanted to do:
Connor started with a 6-pound ball, but he figured out that if he threw a 15-pound ball down the lane, it would knock down more pins. He was bowling with bumpers, so he beat us all with his 15-pound ball strategy.
Full disclosure: Lex was "helping" me bowl. I swear I usually have better scores when bowling by myself.
We bowled two games. Connor won the first, and Nana won the second.
Then it was time to hit the arcade. Kevin got the kids hooked on this snowmobile racing game. They love to play it over and over and over again.
And so ended the day of Connor's 6th Birthday. We were all exhausted from so much fun. We got up too early and stayed out all day, and went to bed too late.
