Well, I asked him what he wanted as a reward for filling up his next poster, and he said that he wanted a pirate spyglass.
So, 50 patches later, Lex has a brand new toy.
Actually, it's not a toy at all. I couldn't find a toy pirate spyglass that didn't have to do with Captain Hook and/or Jake and the Neverland Pirates, which Lex did NOT want. Why not? Beats me. He loves that show.
But I was able to find an actual nautical telescoping brass spyglass with 3x magnification at a reasonable enough price to feel comfortable giving it to a three year-old. So I did. And he loves loves loves it.
I can't wait to see what he picks for his next eye patch poster prize. I wonder if it will still be pirate themed.
