24 Carrot Easter Eggs

Q.  What's the Easter Bunny's favorite jewelry?
A.  24 Carrot Gold!

Little kids jokes aside, we made the best Easter Eggs this year.

Connor picked out a 24 Carrot Gold Egg kit at the store, and they turned out wonderfully.

First, we hard boiled our brown eggs.  Our grocery store only sells organic eggs that are brown, so brown is what we had.  I was a little worried that the colors wouldn't be as vivid on the brown shells, but that was not a problem at all.

Then, after the eggs were dyed, we brushed them with a special gold egg paint.  They turned out really fantastic!
