Well, since I gave you a behind-the-scenes tour of Connor's room, I thought that I should show you Lex's room, too.
First up, the view from the door. Lex's room is yellow and orange, and there are jungle animals on the wall. I made the curtains myself. In fact, we haven't really done much to the room in the way of redecorating since we got it ready for Connor when I was pregnant with him.
That monkey blanket is the one that Connor picked out for Lex as his "welcome to the family" gift. Oh, and his boppy has a sailboat cover on it.
Here is Lex's closet. Yes, it is kind of a pink color. We didn't bother repainting the inside of the closet when we moved into the house. Or when we painted the room again when we were getting it ready for Connor. So it's still pink. Or salmon. It's a little bit orange.
Looks like it must have been laundry day. I think there are usually more clothes hanging in there than that.
Finally, the crib. He still sleeps in a crib. I want to move him to a toddler bed soon. In fact, I even bought a race car toddler bed, but we haven't put it up yet and made the switch. Part of the problem is that the crib needs to be disassembled in order to be moved out of the room, because it is wider than the opening of the door. When we first got that crib, Kevin put it together in the more spacious loft, and then discovered that he had to take it all apart, move it into the room, and put it back together again.
He loves his new Lightning McQueen blanket. He loves McQueen now. That's how he refers to him, by the way, as "McQueen."
